SureAx Medical
Lymphatic System Innovations
Products
Our innovative vascular access products are intended to save time and enable safer procedures. We develop and manufacture all our products in-house at our facility in San Diego. Our SureAx-HOOK™ and SureAx-CURVE™ needles were a direct response to physicians asking for access needles to save time both in training and in use. Our future products have physicians and patients in mind. If you are a physician in the field of lymphatic interventions, please let us know what you need to ultimately help your patients.

Accessing the lymph nodes is the first step in performing lymphography and interstitial lymphatic embolization. Proper anchoring of the needle using within the lymph node SureAx-HOOK™
prevents dislodgement, ensuring the effective delivery of contrast material. This is particularly crucial in mesenteric and retroperitoneal lymphangiography, where respiratory movements and abdominal wall mobility can easily displace the needle.

The design of the SureAx-CURVE™ facilitates one of the most technically challenging aspects of lymphatic procedures—accessing the cisterna chyli and thoracic duct. SureAx-CURVE™ is sharper and stiffer than most off-the-shelf needles. Its uniquely curved distal end allows for precise navigation and redirection to the target by rotating the bevel. Additionally, the shape of the needle ensures that the wire exits in alignment with the lumen of the thoracic duct, improving the success of the procedure by facilitating smoother catheterization and access.
Education
SureAx Medical offers a comprehensive 2-day hands-on course combining theory with practical applications for physicians. We cover the basic concepts and the latest advances in lymphatic imaging and interventions. During the course, the participants deepen their understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system related to lymphatic interventions. Recent discoveries of the pathophysiological mechanisms of a variety of lymphatic and disorders, including chylous and non-chylous effusion, protein-losing enteropathy, peripheral edema, will be discussed and explained. The hands-on part will include practicing intranodal lymphangiography as well as thoracic duct access and thoracic duct embolization, retrograde access to the thoracic duct, lymphoplasty of thoracic duct venous junction, mesenteric lymphangiography and more on the animal model.
Next class dates will be announced soon.
